My direct line from above is John Murphy. John told his oldest children about
the trouble he got into in Alabama. He was arrested, but escaped and
came to Kentucky. Once in Kentucky he changed his name to John Floyd.
I am looking for any information on John, his mother Sarah Linn Dickson, or
his grandfather and grandmother Felix and Nancy Murphy. Any help would
be very appreciated!
